Brownies are for girls aged seven to ten.

Brownies follow a programme called the Brownie Adventure, which is divided into three areas:

  • you
  • community
  • world.

Girls can participate in a wide range of activities at their regular meetings, and at special events, day trips, sleepovers, camps and holidays. They can find themselves trying out arts and crafts or recipes, playing energetic games, taking part in community action projects, or zooming down zip wires.

The Big Brownie Birthday

To celebrate 100 years of Brownies in 2014, girls will have the chance to take part in a variety of exciting adventures including the special Big Brownie Birthday Challenge badge, the Big Brownie Birthday Stay Away residential and the one-day Big Brownie Birthday Star Quest event.

Brownies from every Division will be given the opportunity to take part in a Big Brownie Birthday Stay Away within their own Division and a small group from Chryston & Stepps Division are going to Disneyland Paris on a Big Brownie Birthday Euro Hop!
